REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

Deco Leather Studio offers private, hands-on leathercraft workshops in Miami Beach, Florida. Because sessions are one-on-one, bench time is reserved exclusively for you, and materials are cut and prepared in advance for each participant, the following terms apply to all bookings.

1. RESCHEDULING YOUR WORKSHOP

  • You may reschedule up to 24 hours before your scheduled start time using the self-service link in your booking confirmation email.
  • Rescheduling is limited to one change per booking, and the new session must take place within 90 days of your original date.
  • Requests made less than 24 hours before your start time cannot be accommodated.

2. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

  • 48 hours or more before your start time: full refund to your original payment method, or studio credit valid for 12 months — your choice.
  • Less than 48 hours before your start time: non-refundable.
  • No-shows: non-refundable.
  • Bookings made within 48 hours of the session: if you book less than 48 hours before your start time, you may cancel within one hour of booking for a full refund. After that hour, the booking is non-refundable. To cancel within this window, reply to your booking confirmation email.
  • Rescheduled bookings: refund eligibility is calculated from your originally booked session time, not the rescheduled date.

3. TRANSFERRING YOUR SEAT
If you cannot attend, you may transfer your booking to another person at no charge, up to 24 hours before the session. The substitute participant must be 18 years of age or older and must complete our Participant Safety Waiver before arrival. Email info@decoleatherstudio.com with their full name and email address. Transfers requested less than 24 hours before the start time cannot be processed.

4. ARRIVAL & PARTICIPATION

  • Sessions begin at the scheduled time. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late will receive a shortened session; full tuition still applies.
  • Arrivals more than 30 minutes late are recorded as no-shows and are non-refundable.
  • All workshops are restricted to participants 18 years of age or older. Valid government-issued photo ID is required on arrival. Participants who cannot verify age, or who are unable to participate safely, will be turned away and the booking treated as a no-show (non-refundable).

5. CANCELLATIONS BY DECO LEATHER STUDIO
If we must cancel due to severe weather, instructor illness, equipment failure, or emergency studio closure, you will be notified as soon as possible and may choose a 100% refund or priority rescheduling into any future open session at no additional cost.

6. GIFT BOOKINGS
Workshops purchased as a gift are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. The recipient may book and reschedule under the terms above. Refunds for unredeemed gift bookings may be requested by the original purchaser within 30 days of purchase.

7. PHYSICAL GOODS
Deco Leather Studio currently sells workshop bookings only. Items you craft during a workshop are yours to take home at the end of your session and are not subject to return or exchange.

8. REFUND PROCESSING
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 3 business days of approval. Your bank or card issuer typically requires an additional 3 to 10 business days to post the funds to your account. Any sales tax collected is refunded proportionally.

9. QUESTIONS & REQUESTS
Please contact us before initiating a dispute with your bank — most issues are resolved the same day.
