Refund & Cancellation Policy

Deco Leather Studio offers private, hands-on leathercraft workshops in Miami Beach, Florida. Because classes are one-on-one, bench time is reserved exclusively for you, and materials are prepared in advance for each participant, the following terms apply to all bookings.

Classes are paid in full, including Florida sales tax, when you book. A booking is made when payment is received.

1RESCHEDULING YOUR WORKSHOP

You may reschedule up to 24 hours before your scheduled start time by emailing info@decoleatherstudio.com or replying to your booking confirmation email. Rescheduling is limited to one change per booking, and the new class must take place within 90 days of your original date. Your payment carries over to the new date. Requests made less than 24 hours before your start time cannot be accommodated.

2CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

• 48 hours or more before your start time: full refund to your original payment method, or studio credit valid for 12 months — your choice.
• Less than 48 hours before your start time: the class is non-refundable.
• No-shows: the class is non-refundable.
• Bookings made within 48 hours of the class: if you pay less than 48 hours before your start time, you may cancel within one hour of paying for a full refund. To cancel within this window, email info@decoleatherstudio.com. After that hour, the class is non-refundable.
• Rescheduled bookings: refund eligibility is calculated from your originally booked class time, not the rescheduled date.

3TRANSFERRING YOUR SEAT

If you cannot attend, you may transfer your booking to another person at no charge, up to 24 hours before the class. The substitute participant must be 18 years of age or older and must complete our Participant Agreement & Liability Waiver before arrival. Email info@decoleatherstudio.com with their full name and email address. Transfers requested less than 24 hours before the start time cannot be processed.

4ARRIVAL & PARTICIPATION

Classes begin at the scheduled time. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late will receive a shortened class; full tuition still applies. Arrivals more than 30 minutes late are recorded as no-shows. All workshops are restricted to participants 18 years of age or older. Valid government-issued photo ID is required on arrival. Participants who cannot verify age, or who are unable to participate safely, will be turned away and the booking treated as a no-show.

5CANCELLATIONS BY DECO LEATHER STUDIO

If we must cancel due to severe weather, instructor illness, equipment failure, or emergency studio closure, you will be notified as soon as possible and may choose a 100% refund of all amounts paid or priority rescheduling into any future open time at no additional cost.

6PHYSICAL GOODS

Deco Leather Studio currently sells workshop bookings only. Items you craft during a workshop are yours to take home at the end of your class and are not subject to return or exchange.

7REFUND PROCESSING

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 3 business days of approval. Your bank or card issuer typically requires an additional 3 to 10 business days to post the funds to your account. Any sales tax collected is refunded proportionally.
