1. WHO WE ARE
Deco Leather Studio LLC ("we", "us", "our") operates decoleatherstudio.com and provides in-person leathercraft workshops in Miami Beach, Florida. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how long we keep it.

2. SCOPE
This policy covers information collected through our website, our booking system, our participant waiver form, our email communications, and your attendance at our studio. It does not cover third-party websites we link to.
3. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you book a workshop
Name, email address, phone number, billing address, workshop selection, and appointment date and time. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor — we do not receive, store, or have access to your full card number.
When you complete your participant waiver
Name, email address, phone number, date of birth, workshop date, emergency contact name and phone number, health and allergy disclosures, your media consent choice, your electronic signature, and the IP address and timestamp of submission.
When you contact us
Name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message.
When you attend a workshop
We visually verify government-issued photo identification to confirm you are 18 or older. We do not photograph, scan, copy, or record your identification document or its number. We record only that identification was verified.
If you request an on-site guest parking permit, we collect your vehicle license plate number and submit it to the City of Miami Beach for permit registration.
When you use our website
IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, referring source, and similar analytics data collected through cookies and tracking technologies.
4. SENSITIVE INFORMATION
Some of what we collect is more sensitive than ordinary contact details, and we treat it accordingly.
- Health and allergy disclosures. Collected solely so we can accommodate you safely in a workshop involving hand tools, leather dust, dyes, adhesives, and finishing chemicals. Not used for marketing, never shared for any purpose other than your safety, and deleted on the schedule in Section 8.
- Date of birth. Collected only to confirm you meet our 18+ eligibility requirement.
- Emergency contact details. Collected so we can reach someone on your behalf in a medical emergency. This is information about a third party — by providing it, you confirm you have that person's permission.
- Photographs and video. Captured only if you grant permission on your waiver. If you decline, we will not photograph or record you, including audio.
We are not a healthcare provider, and the health information you give us is not medical records. It is operational safety information.
5. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
- Confirming, scheduling, rescheduling, and delivering your workshop
- Processing payments and issuing refunds
- Verifying eligibility and completing the participant waiver
- Accommodating disclosed allergies and health conditions safely
- Contacting someone on your behalf in an emergency
- Responding to your inquiries
- Sending marketing emails, only where you have separately opted in
- Measuring website performance and advertising effectiveness
- Meeting tax, accounting, and legal record-keeping obligations
6. WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
We use the following service providers. Each processes data on our behalf under its own terms and privacy policy.

7. WHAT WE DO NOT DO
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not share your information with advertisers for their own independent use.
- We do not add workshop participants to marketing lists without separate opt-in. Completing a waiver is not consent to marketing.
- We do not use health disclosures, dates of birth, or emergency contacts for any marketing or advertising purpose.
- We do not store copies of identification documents.

9. COOKIES AND TRACKING
We use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics, and advertising measurement. You can control cookies through your browser settings and through the cookie preferences available on our site. Blocking some cookies may affect site functionality.
You may opt out of the sharing of your information for targeted advertising using the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in our website footer.
10. YOUR CHOICES
You may, at any time:
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information
- Ask us to delete your information, subject to records we are required to retain for legal, tax, or liability purposes
- Unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message, or by contacting us
- Withdraw media consent for future sessions, and ask us to stop using existing images of you going forward

11. SECURITY
We limit access to personal information to those who need it to operate the studio, use reputable service providers who maintain their own security controls, and do not retain sensitive information longer than necessary. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. AGE REQUIREMENT
Our workshops are restricted to participants 18 years of age or older, and our services are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, contact us at info@decoleatherstudio.com.
13. VISITORS FROM OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES
We operate in the United States, and any information you provide is processed and stored here. Privacy laws in the United States may differ from those in your country of residence. By using our services or booking a workshop, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States.

We may update this policy from time to time by posting a revised version on this page and updating the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected here. Please review it periodically.
